poki Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Nah nah nah nah, Treasure Planet did not fail because of Jim. Jim is the cult classic Disney protagonist and Treasure Planet is one of the most beloved by die-hard 20-somethings who grew up with it, like me. This movie will live forever and our children will grow to love Treasure Planet as well. This is the Cruel Summer of Disney, mark my words. OT: Bob has to go, he's not doing well anymore at this job. 2

I was very turned off by this movie. I don't know why. It looks very well animated but for some reason it used to be on the bottom of Disney film when I was a child. TouchinFree Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Took Them that long to figure out that making an entire movie's plot about a political statement isn't actually....entertainment? I watch movies and listen to music to be entertained and escape. The political narratives just kill entertainment.
vale9001 Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 (edited) Their animated movies are always been progressive for their age. Problem of the last decade is being progressive in a way to satisfy these 1% of twitter accounts became for them more important than a good story for real people. Give us hot princes again, a woman in love in not regressive or anti feminist lol Edited December 12, 2023 by vale9001
