No he’s saying hes realized the errors of their ways, but realizations don’t get followed through automatically just cus of realizing. and especially with a corporation like Disney it’ll be extremely unlikely that they change course

ding ding ding - they thought just having a POC actor or background LGBTQ+ characters was enough to please audiences, instead they ended up alienating everybody. Coco, worked for example, because it was also a very amazing movie beyond its "ethnic"-ness.

What exactly are these "messages" he speaks of? Remaking a movie with a POC or female lead instead of writing NEW stories with actual POC/female/queer characters is not the progressive message that he thinks it is... it's just laziness and everyone is seeing right through it.
