I’m guessing cause it wasn’t available with any of the original releases. Makes sense to me, but I just wonder why then All Of The Girls You Loved Before didn’t have the From The Vault as well.

Exactly. I think "from the vault" should be limited to songs she wrote when with Big Machine that she is only now releasing on Republic. Otherwise these designations feel arbitrary.

Wait how come this doesnt count for midnights unit. I swear, AATGYLB and now this.

I need her to hire that one intern from  Dua's team.

This will count for Midnights cuz there’s already a version of the album where this song is featured on (even though that version is only in physical format).

AOTGYLB didn’t count for Lover cuz there wasn’t (and still isn’t) a version of the album with the song tacked on

wait this is good.

why did SOME "songs" make the standard and all of the actual good stuff is on the deluxe :thing:

She’s a mastermind.

Gotta leave off some goodies to release later on different versions.

Either the From The Vault tracks should only be ones written under Big Machine and released now, like you said. Or i’d be fine if she did it for songs that are released after an original album is released, like You’re Losing Me, but the fact that she didn’t do From The Vault for All Of The Girls doesn’t make sense for this.

She should either remove the From The Vault from You’re Losing Me or add From The Vault to All Of The Girls You Loved Before. I just want consistency :dancehall:

it's such a simple and effective song. I fear for Joe on the next album :rip:

You can see why it was in the vault. Ideas from this song were done better elsewhere on the album.

I think she closed that book by releasing this.

Is there anything else to say that she didn’t?

TS11 will be happy imo

Yeah, I feel like the fall of their relationship is kinda all over evermore and Midnights.

Even the love songs about him include some kind of fight and make-up.

Good-*******-bye!

the song is really good but this fake ass “from the vault” label as if she wrote it during the Midnights sessions always makes me scream :bibliahh:

There's nothing left to be said, this was the final nail in that coffin. It took some time, and some songs being released after the initial date for everyone to catch on the the fact that Midnights was mostly a break-up album.

The love songs about him always had an underlying sense of anxiety/unequal dynamic going on. There'd be a line that would make me stop and consider ''hmm this isn't a good sign" but I'd brush it off and here we are. Then Tolerate It confirmed it for me :coffee2:

It also have “breakup” all over it and she just didn't want to specify it at the time :lakitu:

Not her sabotaging this by dropping it with less than 2 days of tracking left, xmas songs flooding the chart and not putting it on a Midnights release sksksk. Glad to have it tho

I just played this 10 times :ahh:love it

We need the every damn song version on vinyl pls ma'am

Why isn’t this tagged onto Midnights on Spotify and stuff? It could help give the album more units especially if she is not going to push another single from midnights.
