Immediately out of the movie i was thinking,  i kinda wanna see lucy gray side. Like some interesting perspective. Like what happens after.

Sidenote but i love her character in the movie ? Im so tilted over this tweet by washed up star of reality show i watch .. called her damsel in distress and hated the movie. I hate the idea of overlapping unsure fans skipping the movie cuz of that.   Like its so much more than that. But on real spoiler side, it makes sense her disappearance cuz they established she is migrant and 12 not really where she's from.  But still, end of the movie left more to be desired in leaving her w just disappearing.

Also i hold popular opinion (based on some reviews I've read) that it s&s could of been 2 parter (which in my mind its format like 2nd movie begins at what's part 3 in the movie). Cuz i feel like there's more to be told of how snow got that bad.  Bc it shows a bit but could of some more.  I haven't read the book yet so idk maybe part 3 just wasnt fleshed out enough or could use 2nd book continuing snows story etc.  For example sumn ppl have said is like how did his and tigris relationship sour that bad

I would love a miniseries about the first Quarter Quell. We barely know anything about these games so it'd be a completely new story, plus with a miniseries format of ~8 episodes, there would be enough time to build a sprawling story involving the Capitol citizens, the Tributes and the Districts. We could have three main characters experiencing the 25th Hunger Games from their unique POV.

 

They could stretch the games out over 2-3 episodes and develop the characters of the Tributes in more detail in previous episodes so that there are real stakes & favorites during the Games. 

Ep. 1-4: Reaping & buildup to the Games

Ep. 5-7: The Hunger Games
Ep. 8: Aftermath

 

If it's too risky to do it with all-new characters, they could also apply this concept for the 50th Hunger Games and have Haymitch be one of the main protagonists.

Do we know how the rest of the world views/interacts with Panem? Maybe an international political thriller between Panem and the rest of the world ala Gilead and Canada in the Handmaid's Tale.
