Can Britney Spears hit n1 on Hot 100 again?

Yes but it has to be the right song at the right time.

A feature is probably best but if it' solo then all stars will have to align.

The book has done wonders for her.

If she manages to get a #1 album and a #1 song (feature or not) she'll be the only act in history (no merge) to achieve this feat.

Pop will still support her if she pulls a Believe. It'll be easier for her to snag at #1 album during a non competitive week than a #1 hit so they'll have to handle. itcarefully.

Hmm, I'm not sure about this scenario. I think she made everything that she could possibly do with her music career. She can deservely rest now.

Hold Me Closer did pretty well on the Hot100 so if she puts out the right song I could see it for her especially if she releases it around the same time as part two of her book.

I think she definitely can. She just needs a bop with a good rollout. But honestly, regardless of the comeback rumors, I just have this feeling that she's not going to put out a studio album again. And after what has happened to her, it's hard for me to believe that she would even enjoy taking orders from a label or working closely with the industry.

Yes but she won’t

Duh. The song just has to be wonderful.

Yes. If she has the right playlisting, music video and atleast 1 or 2 promo things.

No her career is over, she'll be lucky to have consistent Top 3's after Make Me/Hold Me Closer.

I think she's got a bit of hype and is anticipated more than expected. I think she could go Top 10 with the right song but I don't know if she'd go #1.

It’s not happening unless she’s on someone else’s song.

Yes, with the right song. "Hold Me Closer" debuted at #6. I can imagine if the song is really good, addresses some of what happened in the public eye in the last several years, and is marketed as the first single from her new album, it could debut at #1.

In the Britney land sure! :heart2:

Anything can happen, but at this point I’m leaning towards no. Happy to be proven wrong though!

I don't think so, but who cares? She has nothing to prove.
