jdanton2 Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Vampire is #30 and that is easily my favorite recent Olivia song.atrl might hate it but it is her most popular this era with more streams than the other singles combined.
Taylena Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Swifties were left with a Sour taste in their mouths since she didn't say anything to defend her supposed fave from accusations of demanding credits from her. That's what happened. 2

L0verb0y Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Pretty Isn't Pretty could save the era! 1 1
glitch Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 She needs to push Love is Embarrassing as a single to save the era
Machete Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 ATRL told me she hasn’t seen a decline from SOUR so I’m very confused!

Miss girlie grew up rich and working for Disney. There's a disconnect with her image and what she wants her sound to be. She needs to stop being pretentious and give the GP safe fun pop songs. bring back dejavu or g4u 1 1
Karla Cabello Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 boring album + safe for her. if you compare it to happier than ever, billie served something fresh, new sounds and more eclectic. it helped her to broaden her base. i started listening to billie and taking her more seriously after hte 2
kellebrity98 Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 nothing? if you saw that you probably saw that 40 holiday track too and also love how swifties always coming for her just proving the paint again that it’s the most trash fanbase ever (i’m also a swiftie but i just hate most of them like everyone) 2
ronelmaano13 Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 The real test is after the holidays, probably in January. If they don't return to the charts, then it's an underperformance, but if they do return, it's just Christmas music clogging the charts. For me, it's just Christmas music. Half of the charts by December will be Christmas music and most songs of our faves will be gone for a month or two.
OrgVisual Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 (edited) She's "underperforming" the moment Swifties turn on her. It's very telling Edited November 26, 2023 by Sept 1
lillavend3r Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Deserved for not releasing making the bed a single
AvadaKedavra Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Its time to drop the Pop Punk sound. We need more poppy songs and some sort of reinvention and some edge too
Magdalene Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 it got a #1 song #1 album aoty nomination **** it, it’s fine
Taemira Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Swifties' streaming farms doesn't help her anymore. guts is more critically acclaimed than any Taylor album so it's understandable. 4
What_A_Mess Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 It’s because she changed her management team from SOUR era. That team was immaculate. (Plus the GP wants emo Olivia) 2
Maroonx Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Naturally this thread has some Billie/Olivia comparison... smh, yoll need to find more interesting to compare, coz this is getting old x 1
theintriguingone Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 She didn’t have a narrative this era and therefore people weren’t as tuned in to guts as they were sour. I think that’s mainly it. Also she needs to ditch pop rock for good, nobody cares for that sound anymore. She can definitely rebound though. Can’t Catch Me Now is gorgeous. If i were her i’d explore that indie folk rock sound for the next album. It suits her voice beautifully and it can help her expand her lyricism/songwriting.
ICLDXU4HS Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 I think her music just kind of exclusively appeals to teenagers and very young twens and that’s not enough to keep her afloat forever.
Anti-Hero Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Liv has been replaced by Tate as the it gen z girl.

thatsmydemi Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 why are Taylor's stans so concerned about Olivia's chart performance? 1 1
