WP: Taylor donated to Ana's family after reaching out (Update: She met them!)

If the family didn’t want to go to the concert in their time of mourning they wouldn’t have, taking that agency away from them is… very odd :skull: But I guess they were simply forced to attend at gunpoint by the narcissistic capitalist demon who demanded a PR photo from them!

The fact that losers here are more upset about not being able to use this unfortunate situation against Taylor in the stan-wars over Ana passing in the first place...:deadbanana4:. The depths of the gutter know no bounds.

I'm so glad Ana's family got to spend time enjoying something she was so passionate about and I hope they're able to gain some sort of closure from this experience. :heart2:

On the one hand, it's truly so so good that she reached out, helped them, met them, etc. On the other hand, I don't know how I'd feel going to the concert my child didn't get to watch because she was dying, just a few days later. What I'm saying has nothing to do with Taylor, she was 100% in the right inviting them. It was up to them to take her up on it or not and I super respect that she gave them the chance. I'm also not judging her family for doing it at all. Everyone grieves the way they do. To some people this could be therapeutic and truly help them. I just personally think I'd feel so devastated...

I don't know, it's just so sad. This didn't have to happen. Ana couldn't see her favorite artist and lost her life, her entire future. Her best friend had to watch her die and now has to live with that trauma. Her family is now not allowed to grow old with her. Taylor herself has to carry that trauma. And all because some greedy suits at the event organizer wanted to be petty and save some bucks. The more I think about it the sadder I get.

Some losers in here still trying and spreading misinformation… some Brazilians are still dragging her but they already didn’t like her in the first place. All of her Brazilian fans saw this as a sign of healing to the victim’s family and no amount of your personal wishes to get Taylor/her team dragged will be efficient. I know it sucks you can no longer use this for your personal kiis but it’s time to move on.

I just hope the family gets all the support needed in this time of grief. I have never doubted ever that Taylor would end up reaching out. Obviously Ana’s family wanted to meet her to get her condolences personally. Nobody forced them to go, they probably saw this a gesture of love and healing. It was Ana’s dream and they went and lived it for her.

OT: glad they finally did:clap3:

:toofunny3: huh? It just shows you didn't get a thing about what we said.

This is THE LEAST she could do. The bare minimum.

Some of you have really showed your true colours during this tragedy.

I just hope this poor family can one day find some peace. There’s nothing else to say besides that.

It’s true, literally of all the things to do this is one of the last solutions that should have took place. It’s lazy, snarky, and most of all narcissistic. Notice how the only people defending it are the stans.

So if she did something, you will drag her. if she did nothing, you will drag her too.

Got it :clap3:

you were dragging Taylor cause she didn’t donate to a dead fan immediately after she passed away, and now you’re here again after she did donate, what else evidence should we need to prove your true color?

So you’re black? Glad to know that. But I’m pretty sure other black people are not cause they will be shame on you

Seems like yet another apt time to repost something I wrote almost a week ago...

Anyway, now that the cat's out of the bag even when/if it turns out that Taylor has reached out to her family they'll call it PR/damage control/media manipulation anyway... I hate it here

And a word of advice: to certain OTHs Taylor will just always be the narcissistic ***** they want her to be whatever she does, so why bother arguing with a brick wall anyway...

Not you trying to drag Taylor because Ana’s family is… smiling in a photo. Inviting someone to give your condolences to them in person is “black mirror” now? Control yourself

Do you think Taylor can force them to smile? Go touch grass, Taylor will not do anything right on your eyes.

Wasn't this all we've been asking and saying she should have done FROM DAY ONE? :toofunny2:

How is asking for compassion, etc. showing "my true colors"?

If any, this situation has shown most of y'alls. Believe me :michael:

This is THE LEAST she could do. The bare minimum. - this is what you said

this is not her fault, so she has no responsibility in this situation

however, morally speaking, since this happened at her concert and she was her fan, she should help the family

its not THE LEAST she could do, she doesnt really owe anyone but she should help the family out of compassion

so you calling her doing the bare minimum when she doesnt have the responsibility screams entitlement and bias

well you didnt even bother to comment in these 2 threads (this + organiser releasing a statement) before i tagged you just shows your true intentions

And sorry you were perched for my replies over the weekend but I was on holidays. I would suggest you to go out and do the same from time to time. It might help you see things in a more clear way.
