The fact you think it's some kind of "GOtChA" moment

I was the first one speaking about the blatant racism, xenophobia and the lack of empathy among the countless threads your fandom spread in here. Go play somewhere else please...

what age are you? you always use this cringe stan language its embarassing :toofunny3:

and what exactly did you say in this thread? only negative stuff, nothing positive about the family getting the help they needed

your intentions were clear but you just dont have the balls to admit them

Not sure an invite for a meet and greet is what the parents want...  Hope she's able to really help them.

Besides money what CAN she really do...meet them say she's sorry, make sure laws are change in the future, start a scholarship fund or do you expect her to support her whole family forever.

We love her again :heart2:

Rest in peace beautiful Ana

It's definitely good she did this, what a PR nightmare this all has been. And for something where the focus should be on the girl who died, not the back and forth.

Now that has been settled, everyone should let the poor family finally grieve in peace.

Ana’s family is at the VIP tent tonight, which makes the Washington Post article true

It's not a "meet and greet", she invited them to give her condolences in person. Don't try to spin an act of decency into condecending narcissism, that's tasteless.

She donated to the family.

Great, we can now move on and let the family grieve Ana's passing in peace without a bunch of weirdos using her death as a Weapon to try and drag Taylor.

Rest in peace beautiful Ana, you are greater than the whole sky 🖤

On the one hand, it's truly so so good that she reached out, helped them, met them, etc. On the other hand, I don't know how I'd feel going to the concert my child didn't get to watch because she was dying, just a few days later. What I'm saying has nothing to do with Taylor, she was 100% in the right inviting them. It was up to them to take her up on it or not and I super respect that she gave them the chance. I'm also not judging her family for doing it at all. Everyone grieves the way they do. To some people this could be therapeutic and truly help them. I just personally think I'd feel so devastated...

I don't know, it's just so sad. This didn't have to happen. Ana couldn't see her favorite artist and lost her life, her entire future. Her best friend had to watch her die and now has to live with that trauma. Her family is now not allowed to grow old with her. Taylor herself has to carry that trauma. And all because some greedy suits at the event organizer wanted to be petty and save some bucks. The more I think about it the sadder I get.

I just read back on the last few pages of this thread, since I last commented. Oh my god, you people are NOT okay. Someone DIED. Can both Swifties and haters just... shut up? Mostly haters in this thread, tbh. Like, the way some of y'all are acting like someone stole your candy because you can't attack her over this anymore is bizarre. Swifties should also not engage in this sort of stan war on this subject. I understand why you feel compelled to, but rise above it.

i heard thats in Brazil culture, they are not moaning the death that long, they obviously will cry but then they will celebrate the life and joy of the deceased person.

Is there anyone from Brazil can educate us more on this?

Anyway each person will have different way to deal with grief. Please dont judge them if the way they grief is not the same as your way.

He joined ATRL in 2003 so he’s at LEAST mid to late 30s, possibly even in his 40s :bibliahh: He embarrasses himself in every thread he posts in, I’m sorry you guys have to deal with him too.

We shouldn't judge how others feel grief. I feel like it's kinda instinctive to smile in photos and I feel like experiencing the show might bring them some closure considering it was something their daughter was looking forward for months and wasn't something she was able to complete in life. Funerals in Brazil usually take place the next day, or at most, 2 days after the death (or, in this case, after the arrival of the body in the place the funeral is taking place) so people move on with their daily activities faster (which doesn't mean they're not sad or not mourning but people try to come back to their routine)

Someone dies at her show to see her so she makes up for it by inviting the victim’s family to come see HER. It seriously doesn’t get more narcissistic than THAT.

I think they went to that Concert to thank her for everything she did.

So when there is no news of Taylor reaching out you are dragging, and now Taylor reaches out you are still dragging her? Just admit you hate her, so even if she do what is right you will find a way to drag and hate her. Stupid OTH

The damage control after everyone’s lashings :deadbanana2:, the family smiling :deadbanana2: . This is one of the most bizarre moments in pop culture of the recent years, straight from a black mirror ep lol . She’s still getting dragged by the Brazilians
