I have never understood the train of thought that just because we're small in comparison to the rest of the universe it means we're nothing. It's just not true!

 

I'm a living being, I think, I feel, I can interact with my surroundings. I have an impact on the universe, no matter how small. 

 

And it's possible (not likely but possible) that we're the only life in the universe. We're certainly the only life in this corner of it. Wouldn't that mean that we are EVERYTHING? There are whole galaxies out there just waiting for US

The scale of our world is truly terrifying and the fact that our universe constantly expanding 

Sometimes I wish I was born 100-200 years later into the future, when space travel hopefully becomes more advanced and accessible for ordinary humans

I also don't believe that we are alone in the universe. Estimates suggest there are at least 100 billion planets in the Milky Way. I wouldn't be surprised if we found life in the Milky Way.
