Christina did deserve it off the bat of their respective debuts. Christina’s is miles better than Britney’s. However, if you look at their whole career, Christina completely lost artistic steam after Back To Basics. 
 

Either way, it’s sad that the thought of a 17 year old girl losing a Grammy 25 years ago fills forum homosexuals with such glee

This is a bit strange for Jamie-Lynn to randomly start discussing events like this one on television. This story does not belong to her and and it feels exploitative. On a side note, it's really weird for the Grammy Awards to send TV and journalists to Britney Spears' house to film her reaction while they knew they would not give it to her. This also explains why Brit has never cared about the Grammys during her career, that was disrespectful of them.

 

At the end of the day both artists won. Christina had an award and Britney Spears an insane career.
