Taylor Swift is so interesting to me. When she first started, she was this artist who tried to be well-liked by everyone as she mentioned in Miss Americana. It must’ve been life-altering to her psyche when the whole Kim and Kanye drama happened, which resulted in the silly (but exciting, in terms of her discography) reputation era. Then fast forward to now, she has reclaimed her status as a “good girl grown up” by literally playing it safe since the reputation era failed to further her career and “image” as a star. Then, she decides she’s not a “bad girl” and decides to reclaim her “good girl” image with Lover and its silly Target commercial video for the wretched “ME!”. Then, somehow she tries to act like an advocate for the people and a feminist all around the time her documentary comes out. And present day, she literally just uses one page out of that “woke-feminist” playbook and asks her fans to register to vote every several months and that’s about it. Wh*te people love her for making non-intimidating music (and being a non-intimidating public figure) in a world filled with sex, drugs and wokeness, and Taylor is fully aware and engaged.
