She's not there yet but this was the best performance I've been from her so far. Nice that she added a proper dance break in this time.

 

I think a song like exes would be easier to sing live. The jumping back and forth between head voice and falsetto in the Greedy chorus is not easy to do, and certainly not when you're dancing or out of breath.

I'll say this, she clearly has LOADS of potential...

 

Tate's problem (for a long time) was her lack of identity/gimmick... Dua, Olivia and Billie have carved out very specific brands for themselves, Tate felt like a mix of all three... she felt like a pop-star conjured up by a focus group.

 

But with this new direction - 00's throwback pop with ACTUAL dancing could work really, really well for her. She's only 20 so she's got so much room to grow.
