Odette Violet Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Great gowns, beautiful gowns The girls are pretty tho
Nebur Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Cute song but like 99% of ALL Kpop Girls and Kpop Boys, if you have seen A performance they are then YOU HAVE SEEN THEM ALL... there is nothing new in the performances just robots with the microphone off and super makeup
Jormungand Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 As someone that really loved Girls Generation and Rainbow, I don't understand how people get their lives from this generation of Kpop acts. 1 of them looked somewhat happy to be there while the others seem like they were forced on stage at gunpoint🥴 All their movements are robotic, and if it weren't for their outfits and makeup I would've mistaken them for one of their army of background dancers. 1 1

After watching this video, I immediately went and watched and SNSD performance. There was something special to those girls that the new generation just does not seem to have. 2 1

Just pure talent and passion 1
Exodus Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 (edited) The opening was really cool. Should have stuck with that aesthetic. The rest was boring and done before. We didn't need a million backup dancers when there aren't any live vocals and the second outfit change was extremely cringey. Disappointing overall. Edited November 20, 2023 by Exodus

Damien M Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 I always wonder why the K-Pop acts don't infuse *some* elements of Korean music and iconography into their music/shows. To make it their own. NewJeans are very good dancers but it all seems very 1998? Or maybe that's the point...
Holiest Dreams Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 I can’t tell if the background is greenscreen’d in or not, but if it is it looks really good. And obviously the performance itself was good. I think the future of award shows is relying on remote performances in various places, where they can make use of new technology and visuals that aren’t possible on a stage inside the venue.
flower moon Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 it was nice for the first minute or two but kinda same old after
