Is it okay to be homophobic to straight men that try to act gay(gay baiters)?

We all know those straight male friend(s)/person in our lives that purposely try to do affectionate things to their male besties like kissing each other and what not while claiming not to be gay, but do you think an appropriate response to this growing population is to be homophobic to them?

not homophobic, but just just very tone deaf and insensitive.

I mean if they want to be gay might as well give them the full experience

I don’t care about baiters, if anything they are helping to normalize homosexuality

The energy should go more against the religious fanatics, those are the real problem

Going after baiters is a waste of time

I truly do not care if two straight dudes wanna kiss because they think it's entertaining. If they're amused, let them be amused, it's whatever.

Nah, they’re being harmless. Not their fault y’all catch feelings so easily.

Like the good man @Trent W said, save your rage for the psychopaths trying to force their way of life down your throats and oppress you.

I kinda wanna see the hetero barriers be broken down more in male society. Normalize experimenting and not caring that much about labels, like how women already do.

I didn't even realize for so long that there's a WHOLE underground of men who are experimenting but unfortunately it's still v DL and most people don't know about it. I wish men would be more open about it, I feel like it would destigmatize it and remove a lot of the shame guys feel about it... things have changed somewhat but it's still v much smth that is not at all discussed.

I know soooooooooooooo many guys who would rather jump off a high rise building than admit they've experimented.

Nothing wrong with doing what you describe, if it makes you want to act homophobic that’s your problem

I remember when I did unconscious bias training recently, there was a part that said it doesn't matter what protected characteristics a person actually has, if you discriminate against them because of an assumption on your part, that's still discrimination. For example if you thought someone was Jewish and they actually weren't, if you started insulating them for being Jewish, it's still anti-semitic. The same goes for making fun of someone for supposedly gay behaviours.

Also being homophobic towards straight men who "act gay" indicates that you think being gay is a bad thing. When I see gay men themselves being homophobic towards straight men, I'm left scratching my head wondering what exactly they think they're achieving. It's really not the drag you think it is

like calling them f@gg0ts?

Why?

No, it's cute when men are allowed to show some affection to each other. Women do it, let the men do it as well.
