Blanket Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 They need to stop making the comic book movies into comedy. Do they know who watches those movies? It isn’t children it’s adults 4
havewemet Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Personally I thought the new Little Mermaid had some great performances/visual effects and made some important updates to the story. And I loooooved Elemental! Highly recommend if you haven’t given it a shot yet. As a child of the Y2K era who now lives in Toronto I also really loved Turning Red. 6
fridayteenage Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 these streaming services are all/almost all money losers
Katamari Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Who’s making a profit with these streaming services tbh

It first became profitable in 2003 and has grown steadily since then, reaching a profit of $4.49 billion in 2022, a 12.2% decline from its record profit of $5.11 billion in 2021. Netflix should crackdown more accounts that share passwords tbh OT: Karma for pulling out content from Netflix. Edited November 19, 2023 by Nintendoes 1

Bears01 Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Good audiences are finally done rewarding trash
barbiegrande Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 It’s their own fault. The two month model worked for the lockdown era, but they still do it so people are trained to wait a couple months until the latest Disney project is on streaming. And having so many SW and Marvel shows made the movies feel far less special. 2

loveisdead9582 Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Bad combination of poor planning and launching a platform with next to no original content at the time. The early release model worked for quarantine but not long term. Forcing out content for marvel and Star Wars that wasn’t properly given time to develop/produce and wasn’t thoroughly vetted by anyone that wasn’t already attached to the franchises didn’t help either. A streaming service cannot survive on nostalgia alone. The Hulu/Disney+ combo platform makes a lot more sense. 1
popstyle Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Tubi a free streaming is so much better than all these pay ones! And i dont mind the ads! Its free! 1 1 1

panochita Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 With the amount of franchises they had it truly was a mistake to focus on MCU and stat wars 1
Gorjesspazze9 Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Is this why Disney acting like they broke
