NoT them playing rebellious now for social media but will run on Monday to try and die in the heat again to the concert  like nothing happened

Brazilian fans are ensuring she never goes back to Brazil, rightfully so. So ungrateful, and instead of directing the blame at the concert organizers - who it has been confirmed wouldn’t let her postpone until late - instead of Taylor.

Y’all do know that these heat waves will become more and more common right? That’s global warming and we are facing direct consequences this week from El Niño. The same can happen in an european leg next year around summertime or in any other country. It’s not a skip Brazil issue

Anything to excuse blatant xenophobia, if this happened anywhere else #they would be worried about the fans

No. They only got useless credits instead.

Those credits were literally transferable into these concerts we are talking about right now:rip: Stop using Internet Explorer, gramma.
That's literally the whole reason why she has to stay with this same shady promoter in the first place, so her fans could get something back

Credits situation for Brazilian fans  was terrible but it  due a  government law passed in response to covid. Taylor didn't have control of the situation.

The Brazilian government is investigating the promoter and before the show was canceled today they had implented significant changes ( free  water being handed out, more ambulances, firefighters spraying people).

The mayor also said Taylor was feeling ill today . She seemed to suffer from heat exhausation last night.

This heatwave is unusual for Brazil so the organizers did not prepare properly for it.

I'm sorry but the fans have every right to be mad. Everyone was already at the venue when a robotic voice said the show wouldn't happen... after fans spent hours and hours on a 44º degree on the line, waiting for her. She could've showed up and apologized for it, like Billie Eilish and even Nicki Minaj did, but all they got was a PR'd story on IG lol

She should've said the concert was postponed earlier or even yesterday after the events. Now the damage was done

It felt a lil disrespectful bc tickets weren't cheap and people all over the country and even from LATAM went to the concert.

It feels easy to say that the fans are "ungrateful" but y'all wouldn't say that if that happened on your date of the tour or if that happened with any of your friends. Don't talk **** over what u don't know about.

I just felt relieved bc that wasn't my date here but i would be mad as *** if that happened to me.

She’s never coming back. :rip: (not that I care but sad for the fans)

she is coming in the worst season with a lot of stroms and high temp, like girl come next year in autumn or winter... and that's it. its a mess... the city should  NOT allow concerts in "x" max temp not Taylor Swift herself... like and the bad move was the " i don't want to talk about it on the next show" and Taylor can't give water to all of them like honestly, let people go with water or then shut down the event EVEN BEFORE start... like.. for me that's on the City government concern and responsability...

i got in line since 8 this morning and im at a loss of words, the unbearable heat we ve endured just to call it quits minutes before the countdown to start was a sick move. we all had to go back by a sketchy train and everyone was bumping into each other and minors were there.  vendors were screaming into peoples eardrums for them to buy of their food and one even had an ankle monitor, this venue is so ******* disgusting and some people have got their belongings stolen after the concert was postponed. november is a rly hot month too i just cant believe i went through this:skull:my hips hurt and my body is tired and my heart beats fast

after this backlash I do think she will have some hesitations visiting Brazil again (in part because the safety standards were not up to par sadly). In a heat wave, the stadium itself should have offered FREE water bottles at the gate. Also I do think we're going to be seeing more of these types of issues due to climate change. The world needs to prepare itself

Now imagine this but you have to perform for 3h30 mins back to back, while grieving for a passed away fan, while faking smiles when you almost pass out yourself, while managing people to give water to fans.

Even the mayor confirmed that Taylor is also affected with the extreme heat and unwell after yesterday's concert and wanted to postpone *yesterday*.

This is just a shitty lose-lose situation for everyone. But the right call has definitely been made. Nobody shouldn't suffer just for a concert. It should be a joyous event instead.

Everything is out of control now. Poor Brazilians fans and poor Taylor, but I think she won't be back in Brazil ever again :(

they're just mad because taylor took so long to announce the postponement

the fans had already spent the day outside the stadium and by the time the announcement was made it was already full

Of course! Being mad is an appropriate response. But don’t direct that at Taylor, because it’s not coming from her.
