Yes. All the time. He was one of the worst offenders in those days. So did a lot of the admins and mods too, wild times.

They used to make fun of Blue Ivy too.

There's a chance she's not coming back because it was a highly traumatic situation. It could be Europe, Asia, or some American city. It would clearly not be easy for an artist to relieve those memories. Let's see in the future :gaycat6:

If Brazil has this high criminality, it's because the past governments of Lula-Dilma and Bolsonaro were a mess, and they did nothing to solve this in all these years. But some people here are supportive of them? So, do you have the right to throw stones at other countries? I've seen so many ATLRErs supporting those politicians who are bringing doom to Brazil. Countries reflect the wrongdoings of their politicians. I'm currently in Colombia, and we are suffering because our last two presidents are a mess. Now, criminality is higher than ever, and kidnappings are now as common as in the '90s. Do you want criminality to stop in Latinoamerica-Southamerica? Have nuance and support the right politicians from an outside view. That's how you help. Root for Brazilians to elect better people. Right or left, who cares? They need politicians who are good and will tackle this problem of criminality to the roots :emofish:

Yes, SOME Brazilian fans are acting poorly (some of them. That's not great – not cool), but they're just in their feelings. Here in the developing world, it's more uncommon to have concerts of this type. For us, it's a rarity – this type of thing. Don't want to sound mean to all my sugarcubes, but you all in the States or West Europe have the best events, the best concerts, huge titanic productions, the best cosplay events, tech events, festivals, sport ones...ETC all the time. Wealth speaks.  The developing world doesn't have those, so they take it more personally, and it's more valuable to them. For us, it's like golden chances :cm: do you get why people are that triggered on there? This was probably the only time Taylor was coming to their country after decades.

Salaries in Latin America are really bad too, and people from all over Latin America saved so much money for this trip and the hotels. Yes not only brazilians were in attendance. Understand why they feel so disappointed. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for so many, and they clearly feel upset. So, don't mock Brazilians or Latinos darlings. That's not good. Be nicer. We all need to support each other in this tragic times as Popstans. Of course Taylor is also a victim here. This situation is surreal.

Now the question is????

1.it would be great for the two victims to get help and economical-mental health support. What is Taylor and the fandom and the goverment doin for those families? heartbreakin

2. I'm also so concerned about Taylor and her mental health in this moment. What a horrible situation. She must be blaming herself still. About her physical health too after that heat-shock. I wonder if this could bring a change of attitude about all this frenzy about her and the direction of her career. I wonder if she will slowdown with the circus.

3. This is also a wake-up call for everyone worldwide about the safety in concerts. Don't take it for granted. So many things could go wrong.

4. It should also set a precedent of how important is water. Should be mandatory in concerts without paying. The corporations are so greedy
I seen how even in the States they dont give water to people. Thats criminal.

5. We need monitoring about the weather too and weather extremes. Heatwaves and Thunderstorms are gettin more common with global warming. This will be a reality in the future and will be absolutely worse. Its important for all Artists now to check the conditions of the concerts they will have. Are they safe for the Audience?  how theyre measuring the temperature in closed locations? looks like summer concerts are a NO!

This is all very important. You're right, a lot of times American people are not able to really understand the politics of these other countries. It's really not our business or our call.

As for free water, you're absolutely right. I went to this music festival in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was 100+ degrees with the sun out. They were charging $5 for a can of water and the "free" water station was packed and half of them didn't even have cold water, they were blistering hot. They had Buses that had ACs and they were all packed and the AC even ran out. There was also no free re-entry the first day (until 1PM after A LOT OF backlash). One person died the first day of the festival so the next day they made the water free, allow people to re-enter and had more buses and fans cooler areas. It's a shame that some people go somewhere for a fun day but end up never returning home :weeps: We have to do better, especially with touring growing exponentially.

I think you said it yourself pretty nicely :clap3:

It's easy to just blame Rio and the fans, but let's remind ourselves that Rio hosted Rock In Rio, the Olympics, the World Cup and JMJ/GMG, which are much bigger events than a Taylor Swift concert. Not saying they were perfect, but they're not uncapable of hosting a big event.

The organizing company is known to be **** and the heatwave is causing unforeseen damage.

Basically the Columbian girl was on the line with her friends and left to buy snacks. The brazilian girl said she was trying to stole her place on the line and tried to hit her. Production removed the columbian girl and her friends from the line and now they're going to watch the concert from balcony, while the brazilian girl went to the police station.

They’re singing Hot N Cold on the subway:dies:

(Katy you will always be famous)

Wouldn't you rather have them sing it because they're genuine Katy stans instead of doing it ONLY to have a go at Taylor? Taylor's career will still be more than fine compared to that other one but have a sense of "victory" over crumbs like this i guess :coffee2:

Threads like this are another perfect example of this forum's demented obsession with hating Taylor, and of course the thread can stay open for so long despite endless bad faith trolling :toofunny3:

I get why they're angry but it's understandable that it was postponed.

Having said that some of the posts in here are downright xenophobic and have very obvious racist undertones.

People dont only go to the show and pay for that. They also pay for lots of food, clothes, plane, travelling, hotels, everythings for those tours. Cancelling or postponing it is crazy. I would be mad too and her fans are crazy if they believe that everyone will be understanding and accepting. Who is going to understand and accept that huge bunch of people.

I’ve had several concerts canceled on me. That is the risk you take.

So they should have went on with the show and risk another death after seeing people were already starting to faint, before Sabrina was even on stage?

Like I understand that it pissed off the fans, that's not the problem. Saying postponing the show is crazy however is plain stupid.

Brazil's politics are a big mess and the media is trying every possible way to blame it all on Taylor while none of the authorities have taken any accountability
