I don’t think there is an artist in the mainstream sphere that would do that

I never understand why Taylor always gets these isolated scenarios

People are in fact orbiting around her rn

When you're the biggest pop star and celebrity in the world, you inevitably end up at the nexus of every big conversation in the culture.

As if she’d ever upset her carefully crafted image to that extent. Best you’ll ever get is the generic “both sides stop the violence” message, and even that is a stretch :rip:

atrl on odd days: "she has no impact, nobody knows her outside her fan base"

Completely agree, merely stated how whenever there's a big issue in society, people's thought will be "but what does Taylor think?"

taylor is never gonna opine on something that actually matters so it's pointless imagining this happening

And we still didn’t and don’t know what are Taylor Swift’s opinions on basically anything except maybe supporting gays to promote her song

She's an entertainer she doesn't owe us an opinion

honestly if she said it at one of her concerts i wouldn’t be surprised if it ended the conflict or at least had like a lot of influence over it

Didn’t she delete that 8 minutes later and say this

“I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize,” she wrote.

“I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them. The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didn’t choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution. I also pray for all the other people around the world who are caught in similar crossfires.”

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/rihanna-tweets-freepalestine-support-deletes-it-posts-something-far-less-controversial-about-the-israelgaza-conflict-9608782.html

If even Rihanna at her peak DGAF attitude couldn’t leave it up without having to apologise I don’t think Palestinians will ever receive the support they deserve and I definitely don’t think 2023 Taylor will ever say anything.
