I never use Airbnb now unless I’m going somewhere that doesn’t have any hotels (small random towns, usually). 

 

All these musty, corny ass ugly places that are not sufficiently cleaned but want to charge more than a hotel and then also tack on an extra cleaning fee and then also expect you to do chores in the morning before you check out? No ma’am. A nightmare, a literal nightmare. I get so mad whenever I am involved in group trip/party/etc. and someone insists on looking into Airbnb…

AirBNBs are really only good if you need a space bigger than what you can find in a hotel or if it’s in an area with no hotel. The entire platform needs to be regulated, frankly.

Also now a days Airbnb doesn’t even help anymore. If the host has strict restrictions like no refund or cancellation zero return they actually entertain that. I had a trip 5 months in the future & cancelled 5 months in advance i didn’t realize that host had no refund that’s ridiculous.
