If she wants to raise her voice about all the **** that is going on let her. I've been a fan since her Electra Heart days until the verbal vomit that ADIAML was. I have the right, as a stan, to complain about the deterioration of her lyrics and themes. We don't need her, a white British lady living in LA and mind you, her lyrics show a disdain for America, singing about the patriarchy, wars and whatnot. It's fake. Just like her current activism on Instagram. Mrs Lambrini has been busy posting pro-Palestinian stuff on her stories (as she should).. but right after she got called out for taking a stance which people perceived as Zionist. I would happily take some dated EDM like Radioactive before any more of her faux fake crap. The stans who eat everything an artist puts up.. are not real stans. 1 2 3
Frozen99 Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 she looks snatched in the reflection, can't wait for new marina !
Raptus Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 She desperately needs more organic production. Parts of Froot, like Forget, still sounds great because of that. Lyrically she lost it for good, unfortunately. Gone are the days of lyrical masterpieces like Hermit the Frog, Are You Satisfied, I Am Not a Robot, Obsessions, Oh No!, Seventeen, Rootless, Numb...basically the whole The Family jewels
Lorelei Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 (edited) ADIAML was a solid record with some of her most sincere and heartfelt ballads. A couple of songs were on the nose but nothing too dramatic as the comments suggest. She was still being her quirky self, which is her signature style. I'm curious to see what direction the new project will have. Edited November 17, 2023 by Lorelei 2
