Will MJ sue Dua Lipa?

The intros of Houdini and Thriller sound remarkably similar. The first time I heard Houdini, I immediately recognized echoes of Thriller. Do you think Dua will face another lawsuit? Do you agree that the two songs sound alike?

I love Dua so I don't want her to face another lawsuit :dancehall2:

It's Katy Perry's trademark.

No cause they don’t even have any similarities

There are some similarities notably in the drum patterns and the repeated baseline, but I don’t think that’s enough for a law suit

yeah very first thing i thought of when i played the song was mj. however i dont think it's grounds for a lawsuit

My first comment after listening to the song  was about how it reminded me of Thriller.

I don’t think she’ll be sued though.

I don't think they're very similar at all :rip: idk what y'all are hearing but this is definitely NOT lawsuit-worthy

They are not similar enough for a lawsuit. I don't think a casual listener would EVER confuse them.

You can go thru the comment section on the link and many people hear the similarities.

Dua needs to copy MJ's best song 2000 Watts instead
