Are the "makeup" and "panty" drags for Rihanna getting stale?

Rihanna has revolutionized both the beauty and fashion industries, setting precedents moving forward for inclusivity of people of all skin colours and body types, which is not something drag-worthy or laughable.

We can joke about how she's retired from music but her impact on these industries are nothing to take lightly and seem to be downplayed on ATRL and used for cheap drags and clapbacks.

Are the "makeup guru" and "panty seller" drags getting stale?

Yes. Her products are amazing. The world NEEDS them. :heart2:

She makes way more money with her brands than she does making music so I don't blame her.

It’s a bit weird to ‘drag’ somebody who willingly took a break from releasing music to pursue other interests. Her latest album was both a commercial and critical success, so it’s not like she was driven away from the music industry. :rip:

Isn’t her beauty brand also the most successful celebrity beauty brand? I would just take the ‘drags’ with a pinch of salt, because there’s nothing drag worthy about being a billionaire with both a successful music career and beauty brand.

I don't think anyone is truly bothered by her business, we're just angry she stopped making music and this is how we let it out

I'm happy for all of the immense amount of success she's accomplished but it's just sad for me as a fan since 2006 knowing she hasn't released an album in almost 8 years. I don't need her to promote the album or even go on tour. Just put the album with one or two music videos and call it a day. I really don't think any of us would be upset if she just dropped the album and left it to collect dust because at least we have new content. On the flip side, I get it. She's a billionaire. She doesn't need to put out another album if she doesn't want to. Her, her kids and her future grandkids are set for life.

Not any more stale than her current music career prospects. I commend her though for leaving something that wasn’t a true passion for her. She’s doing very well.

She has clearly retired from music. :rip: That's fine, we are all allowed to change our interests over time. In the future, she may do a few music side projects here and there, but you're delusional if you think she's going to be releasing an album anytime within the next 5 years.

it's even worse when their faves are copying her moves by also selling makeup or panties/clothings :coffee:

I brought up the question in the context of stan arguments on this forum, when non-Rihanna fans use the "panty lady" and "playing with makeup" as a drag to undermine her music career which is silly because those ventures turned out to be wildly successful and impactful and are always downplayed.

But yes obviously the whole world is craving for new music from her, even the haters. We can absolutely drag her for not releasing.

No, it's what the avon lady deserves for not releasing music in 7 years...

I don't mind the drags, I wish they were actually witty or funny. I also don't get it coming from this site because from what I thought I didn't think so many members actually do listen to her music or anticipate her releasing given the **** they used to and still give her :deadbanana4:

I think it's just one of those things that have become acceptable and easy as drags and I doubt they'd stop even if she were to drop music tomorrow, but they're not that serious anyway so they can go on I guess.
