Starfish Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 With winter fast approaching it is officially soup season! There is a gentle warmth in consuming soup that is said to lower signs of aggression amongst inmates in the colder months. So does ATRL like soup? What kinds, yes and no? Any recipes you might want to share? 1

DatChickDoe Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Pozole for sure. Instant ramen though is a guilty pleasure. Even though authentic ramen is superior. I may order some soup today. It does sound good. 1
popmusicisdead Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 yeah but only really thick and creamy ones. none of those watery, Goop bone broth type sh*t
TROJAN Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 I love soup! I usually (as weird as this may sound) have it with some nice red wine. I usually follow Martha Stewart recipes.
ariananext Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Not at all, I don't think soups are much of a thing in Italy (at least my area)? The only "soup" I can think of is this type.

Ewan Chaos Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Yes but I only make it if I'm cooking for myself because my bf always complains that it's not filling enough nn. My favorite is a recent discovery: an Indian style red lentil and spinach soup that's cooked in the instant pot. SOOOOO easy to make, SOOOOO flavorful and doesn't even really require many ingredients you'd need from an Indian market (but using Madras chili powder is truly game-changing, so I'd recommend not using milder chili powders). I also really like an Italian orzo and kale soup with pork meatballs. Or chicken noodle soup especially when recovering from being sick... or a simple lentil and veggie soup... ugh yaas soup.
