How is it completely off topic when the OP mentions "Unmatched demand"?

Madonna and MJ (the biggest and most successful solo acts worldwide) in the 80's, and no other solo acts came close (and still don't). They could've literally done the same if they chose to, but they didn't because they didn't/don't like touring for long periods (which is something they've both said). If you choose to be delusional and think there was no demand, that's down to you and your idiocy. No one else.

If they were really as big as you were saying, they would be grossing higher than all those rock bands...

Taylor has no problem stomping on U2, GunsNRoses and Coldplay(who will have the 2nd biggest tour of the decade only because they were blocked by Taylor who is leagues above them). 

 

Btw Madonna only competed with the females while being stomped on by multiple men while Taylor is stomping on everyone.

Maybe they could have, maybe they couldn't have. We'll never know. By applying that same logic we could say that Taylor could just keep adding dates if she chose too.

Yes and based on what I have observed Taylor can have 130 sold-out stadium shows in Shanghai and Beijing, no one can match, if you really wanna play this delusional game
