Taylor Swift is big enough now for there to be different factions of fans everywhere. Like The Hunger Games. 
 

In District 1-11, we have our normal fans who just love the music. 
 

In Disctricy 12, we have the cupcakes (losers, if you will). These people will project their own insecurities and dreams onto her, for some reason. Never grasping the fact that she’s her own person and can live… well, her own life. 
 

Exiled, in District Hell, we have the Gaylors. But that’s a story for another day.

The joke in the video isn't about Taylor's dating life; its how the portion of the fan base that are living vicariously through Taylor and take her relationships personally and obsess over them.

 

Look at stan twitter or the subreddit for Taylor and you'll find people posting about crying at their relationship because she ran up to him immediately after a concert and jumped into his arms, long winded essays about how this will be it for Taylor because Travis is used to the spotlight and will be able to handle it with her, etc.

 

The majority of people posting on other forums that focus on her and Discord chats exhibit the kind of behavior this video is making fun of.

That's just what the video is about. I mostly posted since I have additional context on what sparked this video because I like what him and his team puts out and he mentioned what inspired this video is him going through a ton of Taylor stans on Twitter's tweets. But yes, I do agree that that isn't the best representation - and I agree that football fans are just as bad. I'm involved in those as well and when the team I follow wins, the fans of that city are prone to destroy property on the street in celebration.

I'm a fan of this guy just as I am Taylor, so I watch his livestreams and have the context behind the video. So I shared it in response to people who think it's about her dating life. Nothing is "deep" or "too much" - its a video making fun of unhinged fans. I just said a lot.
