Most Janet hits were extremely local.

Doesn't Really Matter was a cute hit in the US and that's all. Far from smash hit. Same goes for Till The World Ends.

Yeah, they're the only artists I could think of that have a blockbuster album in every decade.

1970s: Off The Wall

1980s: Thriller, Bad

1990s: Dangerous

1980s: Madonna, Like a Virgin, True Blue, Like a Prayer

1990s: The Immaculate Collection, The Sex Book, Ray of Light

2000s: Music?, Confessions on a Dancefloor

Taylor Swift: Obviously had smashes in all three of her decades thus far

the instant downvotes LOL

Anyway Britney obviously

Cher

Rolling Stones

Lady Gaga will def join the list this decade

Coldplay will probably too

Most of the legends from the previous century literally died before they could achieve this. It's really not this impossible thing lol. Now that the industry much less self-destructive, I can honestly see Billie or Dua achieving this.

All For You was a giant smash.   They both were.  I was there.

Why does everything have to be "global" these days?

Beyonce:

2000: Crazy In Love, Irreplaceable, Halo

2010: Telephone, Drunk In Love, Perfect

2020s: Cuff It, Savage remix, Break My Soul

with DC added we can also add the 90s with songs like Bills, Bills, Bills, Jumpin Jumpin and No, No, No.

Diana Rossa and MJ's go for like 5 decades if you count The Supremes and Jackson 5.

Kylie:

80s: The Loco Motion, I Should Be So Lucky

90s: Where the Wild Roses Grow, Confide in Me

2000s: Spinning Around, CGYOOMH, In Your Eyes, I Believe in You

These tracks were massive in Europe, Australia, Israel. The 80s and 2000s ones also smashed in the US.

The need to equate Taylor with MJ and Madonna in the attempt to deify her among what are music gods have lead swifties to being delusional on this website. It’s so weird.

it's all success stans.  They can't possibly believe Midnights is on par with Erotica or Bedtime Stories.

I think it would be fair to add All the Lovers to 2010s and Padam Padam to the 2020s.
