Having at least one signature ballad is almost a requirement. But which one is your favorite? These are the ones the gp knows, and tends to be that song associated with said artist.

Shallow from this list, but We Belong Together in general maybe

all too well and love on the brain are excellent.

i think love on the brain is more mid-tempo though compared to the rest. rihanna has more recognizable ballads (i.e. “stay”, “take a bow”)

After the reveal that Everytime was written about Britney's abortion, it's that one 100%

such a unique theme and such a beautiful execution, paired with unique aspects that have never really been captured in any covers of the song either, with a melancholic video to match. Bravo

Exhale by Whitney or Saving All My Love For You

the way she’s always excluded from those but her hits are bigger than stuff like everytime all too well or one last time

All Too Well

Not sure I would consider One Last Time a ballad but that would be second

This is a rather weak selection. Many of the women in the poll have far better ballads.
