Which part of the skit did they make fun of that? I’m starting to think you didn’t even watch it, but somehow you have an opinion about it. I love the internet

When they had Chloe portray Britney like this ever since the free Britney movement, using her instagram videos as obvious inspiration. Whether you're sticking your head in the sand or genuinely clueless, you can keep the assumptions to yourself

what is he managing? I mean yeah brit just released a book but is she doing anything? Brit should have just self managed ala Taylor

Good question because Britney not working at the moment, and I hear from those who brought the book that it's stated that Britney not interested in working at the moment.

I don't know what employee Cade Hudson expecting.

pretty respectful?

THIS is respectful

in Britney's skit, they make fun of her mannerisms, inflections, looks and mixed fake quotes with real quotes seemlessly in a defamatory way

There were so many cooler skits they could have done. Present-day Britney writing her book, thinking back on the events and portraying those events in funny ways, with an emotional third backstory that finishes with a present day punchline is an obvious choice, that wouldn't have had to resort to making fun of her systematically induced anxiety

Chloe’s impression, which was literally 20 seconds long, came across as really confident and composed imo… where are you getting anxiety from? Sure she was using some her Britney’s inflections and mannerisms, but that’s literally the point of an impression. She wasn’t using them to mock Britney, she was doing them so people would know who she was supposed to be.

And the whole skit is about other celebrities interpreting the book in comical ways and making THEM the butt of the joke. Your idea of diving into actual events from the book sounds awful.

Thanks for explaining the plot. You and user @Vroom Vroom have such advanced intelligence, I don't know how I would have managed to interpet this SNL skit without your help.

You’re the one responding to and disliking everyone that mildly disagrees with you, so if you want to continue  “sticking your head in the sand” and live in anger then that’s your choice :heart2:

we should ask cade who's having dinners with him, now THAT'S what i find offensive :skull: how's he still her manager? anyway, the skit wasn't mocking her, the overreaction.

That girl is awful. Glad he clocked her.

SNL hasn’t been funny in decades. DECADES.

I’m honestly never more amazed by anything like I am the US’s desperation to cling to SNL. It’s not been funny for literally my entire life.

The skit didn't attack Britney in any way :biblio:

The skit was offensively bad, but not offensive to Britney. I dont know what he’s on about.

I agree the reaction is a lot and the skit wasn't in super poor taste like I expected. He is right about Chloe Fineman tho, I didn't know her name until today but every time I would see her face I just knew the skit would be terrible. I don't think she even writes them but it's her impact, and apparently she's a scientologist too:rip:

I don't understand the need for one since Britney not working and has no interest in working for now.
