look, I understand that both candidates are unfavorable and have their flaws. however, unless you are willing to make a third party push and help organize and fundraise for a third party candidate, are you going to vote for this man or the clear alternative that won't do this?

My plan is to vote down ballot for my state and local candidates and leave the president/vp choice blank. I cannot vote for someone who literally is giving billions to fund Israel’s deplorable treatment and genocide of the Palestinian people.

Which state are you from if you don’t mind me asking

our rights are literally on the line.  I can't vote for Trump no matter how much I want the government to not spend money.   I would've considered voting Republican pre-Trump, like during McCain or Romney, but the ideology is just too far gone in Trump.  You can't trust him at all.  He's literally a criminal.  Can't support that.   I don't like Biden, either, but I just can't vote for Trump and think the country is going to get better.  It would be 10x worse, cuz it would give ammunition to a lot of bad people.

These mental gymnastics don’t make sense. You aren’t going to “vote” but the lack of a vote is going to have the same or an even worse effect. Guess what, if you don’t vote and a WORSE candidate replaces Joe who funds Israel even more and condones the unlimited violence towards Palestinians your lack of a vote was a direct impact because you willingly sat out knowing there was a worse potential than Biden.

The only way you have no impact is moving out of the country to not pay taxes to the US government. Otherwise it’s all performative that doesn’t change any part of reality just done to make yourself feel better.

let me give you an analogy of how this logic doesn’t make sense:

Say you’re forced to make one of the choices below in regards to 2 criminals:

1. Kill Criminal 1 who plans to kill 50 people

2. Kill Criminal 2 who plans to kill 500 people

3. Do nothing and leave it up to a coin toss

Now you’re saying you’d chose option #3. You’d not do anything to make yourself feel like you had no part in it. But you did. By not choosing to kill Criminal #2, you’re leaving open the possibility of an extra 450 victims dying.

You not voting is not some moralistic action when the result can make things worse for the same people you’re apparently trying to protect.
