Did Chris Rowe just gave the biggest middle finger to Max Martin?

…For outselling and out-acclaiming 1989 with 1989 TV?

Did Chris Rowe just made America & Nashville proud with his global acclaim and success?

Is Europe shaken again by North American excellence in Chris Rowe?

Discuss cutely today on reputation’s sixth year anniversary.

Max Martin is happy, acclaimed and unbothered.

Chris Rowe is a harmless man just getting his bag and was chosen by Taylor for being unknown and cheap.

Chris Rowe in 2023 produced the most successful and one of the most acclaimed albums of the year

Max Martin in the same year produced the latest efforts by Kim Petras, Ed Sheeran and Post Malone

This is not a 2023 comparison thread.

If you want to compare two person's legacy, quality, and discography, you should focus on their whole career not just one year.

No because first of all, Max Martin’s legacy is bigger than just 1989. But also Christopher’s production is inferior.

It wouldn’t matter if 1989TV sounded like it came fresh off GarageBand, the only reason it did better is because Taylor is too big to fail atp and at an unprecedented level of popularity.

Max’s music is generic pop. It’s for 16 year olds.

I’m sorry you feel that way :emofish: this thread is literally comparing 1989 to 1989 TV, an album that just came out, just now, in the year of 2023 after Christ

maybe you can open a “who has the bigger career legacy? Max Martin vs. Christopher Rowe” thread if different opinions bother you so much

1989 TV is not going to do a fraction of what the original did.

1989 slayed because of the music

1989 TV slayed because of it being a re-release /of a great record /by a huge artist

He gave a pinky finger maybe and then Max sat on it and rotated.

I think this had more to do with Taylor's starpower being at its peak, than the actual quality of the producer :clown:
