Zendaya has already accepted the offer to take on the role of the young queen of Egypt. Timothée Chalamet has been offered the role of Octavius and Daniel Craig is being sought for Caesar.

I can see him doing Cleopatra but I doubt it will be Zendaya. Besides isn't he supposed to be doing Rendezvous with Rama first?

Not Chalamet for Octavius :rip:

Smart move from Zendaya if true. Sticking with Villeneuve makes sense and it feels like a project that could make her a true leading lady movie star.

Not another online discourse about Cleopatra's origin :rip:

The absolute gag that she was inbred to the core and therefore probably facially disfigured. Her maternal grand-grandparents were literally siblings + she married both of her brothers. :skull: Where's the ugly inbred people's representation in media?

This is getting tired. What's next? Joaquin Phoenix playing Martin Luther King?

Changing races of fictional character shouldn't be an issue. But changing the race of a historical figure should be a no go.

Ready for incoming "Zendaya to be killed in Egypt" threads

It should be Gaga and we all know it, people have seen that huge nose Cleopatra had, idk why Hollywood is trying so hard to avoid that

This reads like something from The Onion. You could create a more ridiculous cast and Timothee’s career is on his last leg in Hollywood. Flops left and right.
