she told no lies about him holding onto that twink look which does make him look weird since he’s aging in the face. As you age your face sinks in, if you are already skinny it makes you look like skeletor. Most twinks realize this by putting on some weight and calling themselves a twunk.

This is just a stupid thing to say about someone’s appearance.

Post a pic and let the internet drag you.

but most of you guys didn’t have a problem when she’s drags pop girls and scream kiii etc encouraging this behaviour (when she has also been bigoted and out of line previously), but now all of a sudden it’s an issue because she’s dragging gays?

She is pushing forty soon and still the same as 10 years ago.

Uuuf.

Its basically a given at this point for any artist who praises Azealia Banks, to be mercilessly dragged by her soon after.

Not a defence of her unhinged & unwarranted bullying at all, but I do feel people are misconstruing what she’s implying - she isn’t equating homosexuality to pdfilia - she’s referencing/criticising his song “Youth” - which she seems to have interpreted as an anthem for gay relationships with problematique age discrepancies & this aesthetic, & is implying Troye is pushing/benefiting from this marketing.

Troye has explored themes of youth, and incorporated references like “Bloom”, which carry a certain implication - but at the same time, he is a young gay man expressing his reality, sexuality & experience through music, which he has every right to do, without such a heinous accusation. He also can’t help what he looks like.

I get the essence of the criticism she thinks she’s trying to make, I just think it’s misplaced in this case & she’s reading into intent that isn’t there. I don’t follow Troye that closely, but I don’t think this “theme” has been a central part of his branding, comparable for example, to early Britney Spears or even more current young female acts. Correct me if I’m wrong.

She’s way out of pocket with this one, as usual.

Thank you! An eloquent response! :clap3:

It's so interesting to me how white gays still support Azealia even though she's been dragging them like this for a good decade:rip:

She’s trash but the part about him coming out as trans for clout shouldn’t be controversial, he just posted a vid last week desperately seeking attention saying he never thought about his gender or being non binary 1 time but he did drag once & now, who knows? It’s disrespectful to trivialize & reduce that experience to “I look so good in glam, guys, might be a woman sometimes, idk!”. He is weird & if he looked like Sam Smith & said the same ****, ppl would clock it

ETA: & I agree about “my youth is yours”. I was 19 with a bf in his 30s & he ******* loved that song…

The way y’all equate black female rage to misery is really always so telling.

like she said in the rest of her stories. Treat her with this respect behind the scenes or don’t talk about her.

The random meltdown because someone liked her song. She probably had this drag saved and was waiting for an excuse to post it :hoetenks:

This is such a reprehensible comment. People who say “she’s always right, she just says things badly” need to take a look in the mirror

Azealia banks threads, like JK Rowling threads, should be banned on ATRL at this point. Her takes are nothing but spitting venom.

I’m sure he gleefully ticked off one wish from his bucket list

Every gay guy wishes to be scalped by Azealia at least once in their lifetime! I know I would love it

i’m sure he read her insta story with a cold glass of wine while Liquorice blared from his speakers at full volume

This isn't the first instance of her dragging the white gays or men in general. Like some of her most famous quotes are from that

A lot of trans people literally explored their gender by doing drag first :rip: why are you talking like that’s uncommon?
