CalvinZeng Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 GA is going to save pop music in 2024!!! I miss the girls so much. 1
Heartbreak Prince Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Little Mix? Over. The Saturdays? Irrelevant. Sugababes? Boring flops. There is only room for one UK girlband supreme and they’re on their way back. 1 1 1 8
SamanthaJadeFr Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Steps, Sugababes, S Club 7, Girls Aloud...let me move to the UK now 5
CosTaSsSs Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 It doesn't feel the same without Sarah. I just wish Cheryl and the girls got a better handle on their solo career. Cheryl should have been promoting better her albums and work with better producers etc. At least their reunion may bring back Xenomania as their main producers which is nostalgic to think about.

I don't think so Let's bring back Xenomania and a bunch of fresh new producers, shall we? Edited November 8, 2023 by Mr. Blue_Shirt

Nashe Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 well, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest when it was bound to happen at some point, but it excites me so f-ing much I also think they'll rework some of Cheryl's 2018 demos for this Let You and LMMDI were great pop songs, she definitely had some more in store
BambiStar Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 It's by some kind of miracle this is actually happening? Let's celebrate! Time for cocktails with price tags make you choke on your sushi 1

Nicola can write and they still have good ears for pop music and current sounds. I also hope they will work with Mnek, Tayla Parx and other cowriters. No, he dragged our Cheryl in 2021. 1
mickeyderon Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 Very excited to hear what the new music will sound like. The new tracks on 10 were great and still sound good now.
Dante Silva Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 Points to consider: 1) GA signed a three album deal before their hiatus in 2012. So were always contractually obliged to reform at some point in time (it seems they finally agreed that time is now). 2) In the time period since GA were last actively making music together as a group, Xenomania twice tempted to replicate the commercial success they had through GA with two other girlbands, Unperfect and Cutebad and the music Xenomania made with those groups was mostly weak and literally everything by both these groups flopped miserably causing both groups to be later dumped and labelled failures leading many to speculate Xenomania are creatively burnt out. 3) Nadine recorded several unreleased songs with Xenomania originally recorded by (and also unreleased by Unperfect), that were at one point set to appear on Nadine’s intended (later cancelled) 2nd solo album for Virgin records. “Go To Work” was the first single. These other tracks could potentially have been re-worked (a third time) as brand new GA tracks. 4) We know the girls (minus Nadine) have a passion for Rn’B. Now they are reuniting with more control than they ever previously had over their music. Could this influence the direction they want the new music to take? and if so would many fans voice opposition to this? 5) GA are mostly appreciated for their bangers, is a track dedicated to a now deceased group member likely to be one? Or is it more likely to be a ballad.
Pendulum Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 okay but we need a sophomre album by Nicola Roberts ?? them Cinderella's Eyes outtakes released last year were not it 1
glitch Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 Amazing news! I never payed much attention to them when they were active but gave their music a spin after Sarah passed and was shocked at how many bops they had. Hopefully their new material won't disappoint
Joyride Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 any idea of when is this being officially announced?

SinnerCity Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 Honestly, this is the perfect time for Nicola to be an active part of the songwriting process! Her album remains an absolute pop masterpiece and Cheryl’s latest droplets are bangers. Xenomania always brought the best in them for girls aloud so I’m not worried about the quality of the music, I’m sure the girls will work with producers and writers that can execute their vision
WERKER Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 Oh my god I'm pretty sure they are gonna be #1 on my spotify wrapped this year already and now this Hope it will be tasteful for Sarah and know it will be. Cant wait!
