Nintendo's handing one of their crown jewels over to this guy??? 

 

The Legend of Zelda shouldn't be adapted, unless it's going to be one of the best cinematic masterpieces of all time.  

 

Edit: and the writer of Detective Pikachu, Jurassic World, and Rise of Skywalker?! This is such a setup for disaster that I have to laugh

Wes Ball isn’t the worst choice and he really knows how to stretch a budget, the first maze runner cost only 34 million to make and made over 300 million . But yeah there’s way better choices out there. His next film is next years planet of the apes so let’s see how audiences receive it. 
 

Now the writer, all the movies he co -wrote are average to mediocre outside of the indie hit so yikes.

It’s only been 3 hours since the news dropped and I’m already disappointed.

Disappointing. Crap director and writer but will still likely smash and we'll probably get a bunch of "critics are irrelevant" type losers like what's happened with FNAF. 

 

Zelda deserves much better than this.
