Yeah. On first listen I ended up liking the album more than I expected. 

Run For The Hills is definitely my favorite.

Think Later 2nd favorite.

Greedy 3rd favorite.

Something about the lyrics doesn't quite hit home for me. 

I feel like, in general idk like the lyrics sometimes when there was space to fill in the songs they just threw random phrases in there.

But apart from that it's solid. 

And so, what i've come to find in Tate Mcrae songs is that, there are some really great lyrics that jump out at you in the most random parts of the songs.

On first listen, this is actually kinda cute. 
My favourites are probably Think Later, Greedy, Run for the Hills, Grave, Hurt My Feelings and Messier in that order. The other songs have to grow on me but they’re not bad. I don’t get the hype around Guilty Conscience at all, the title track is a smasher.

She seems to have visualizer ready for all her songs on her YouTube channel. Interestingly, run for the hills, stay done and calgary don't have "Ofiicial visualizer" written by their names. Does that mean all 3 songs are getting a video? Or is it just a goof?

I think there’s a cute 10-11 track album here if you get rid of plastic palm trees, we’re not alike (a good song but def feels like it’d fit on her first album) and want that too. The ballads definitely seem more pop driven this time too and less post Palone esque

People were definitely right in saying this is more like a transition album though. You can tell she wants to go full pop girl but ofc her label said let’s make the tracks half and half. Clearly the pop girl image sticks and has worked so assuming her deluxe and follow up to this will be fully MPG vibes. Bookmark me
