Raphy23 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Messier has hit 1 Million views on it's audio video. It's the 6th TL audio video to pass the 1m point.. only audios remaining to get it are Stay Done, Calgary, Guilty Conscience, Want that Too, and Plastic Palm (not counting greedy and exes because those audios are not getting any views ).
limelightofdawn Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Not sure if this has been mentioned previously, but does anyone know why Cut My Hair is a different version on the physicals, and why they switched the order of Grave/Stay Done? Both my vinyl and CD are like that. It isn't a big deal, but it just irked me when I played them after streaming since December
kellebrity98 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 they just can’t get over greedyit had the best streaming week in 12 weeks this song deserves song of the year, best pop solo grammy 1

It isn't massively different, it's just missing adlibs as far as I can tell, most notably the ones right at the end closing the song (which imo is a crime) I just don't understand the reason for the alt version being on the physicals, unless it's a mistake?

The admins were added right before the album was released. They updated it on Spotify, but obviously it was too late to change it on the physicals. Edited March 9 by Raphy23 1

k4rmabutterfly Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I think for her next album she should drop the sad girl image and sound 100%, there’s so much competition with Billie, Olivia, Taylor, SZA, even Lana and let’s be honest, she’s not as good or relatable as them when it comes to her sad songs so she can’t compete with them. While for dance-pop her only competition is Dua, whose sound is kinda oversaturated rn for the GP. And Tate’s an amazing dancer / performer, I mean the moment greedy dropped she became a star. I know she likes her ballads, but I think is the wisest thing to do after Think Later.

Sad girl bit got a little boring" in the masterpiece that is Cut My Hairsus. I like her variety of bops and guitar driven songs. She needs to continue to do a mix of both. I could see her smashing with a Love Yourself/Ghost type song in the near future. 1

Well, maybe I exaggerated on dropping 100% the sound and image, but I definitely think she should continue to focus on her “pop girl” side. Think Later only had three uptempos, her next album should double that, at least. I actually think even her og fans are liking this side of her more than sad girl Tate. The demand is there from both the GP and her fandom.
