You will definitely notice the difference with Debut and Post, those two albums sound (at a techincal level) very dated, they sound low af, if you compare those two albums with the remasters she did for the surrounded boxset. Too bad those remasters are not available on streaming and the boxset is expensive af. 

 

Some of the songs have differences across all the albums:
- "I Miss You" is a different vocal take, so yeah new vocals.

- "Hyperballad" is the radio mix (the one in the music video) instead of the album mix.
- "In the Musicals" is a different mix.
- "Unravel" and "Bachelorette" ending and opening are not connected anymore, the same for "Pluto" and "All Is Full of Love".
- "Bachelorette" has a different vocal effect.

- "All Is Full of Love" is the original version (aka the single mix produced by Björk) and not the album version (aka the Howie B remix).

- "Vespertine" is the one with the most differences as every song has so many layers, beats, effects, etc. All the songs have minor differences.

- "Undo" has many different effects throughout the song.

- "An Echo, a Stain" has an added flute part and the ending is different.

- "Unison" is slower and has many electronic effects added.
- "Medulla" vocals are vastly mixed different.

- "Petrolatum" is added to DR9, and they included longer versions of "Shimenawa" and "Arctic Return".

Tbh this all sounds bad. Hate when artist try to "correct" perfection.

I feel like the album, all the mixes/bsides, rare & unreleased songs/demos/remixes would be the way to go personally.  I've been waiting for a decent remaster of Post for too long.

I believe another poster said these remasters won't be available on streaming. That is extremely disappointing considering most of us (if not all of us) stream our music on Apple Music or Spotify Premium. Since I love Bjork, I might have to buy this CD boxset and rip the files to AAC.
