PR doesn't equal wanting promotion. It just means positive attention. Also, couples can be real and still be used for PR.

 

The idea of fake relationships for PR is antiquated. It doesn't really exist. And there isn't really any debate as to whether they're using this relationship for good attention or not, it's not like they're being coy about it.
