coward doesn't want to upset her racist, islamophobic trash friends. what a nasty piece of ****. she can go to hell along with her zionist friends. I regret that I ever stanned her. she is truly showing her colours and who she really is during this time.

couldn't even do the absolute least by signing the ceasefire letter or post a donation link that may help the children in palestine. she can post a million useless wondermind posts but suddenly when it's palestinians and muslims being slaughtered a post won't do anything? she was preaching about misinformation on the internet and the impact of social media a couple of years ago but she herself liked two amy schumer posts that were spreading misinformation. claims she doesn't care about money and fame but cleary does since she doesn't want to lose either. meanwhile artists like kehlani and lauren from fith harmony who don't have half of the money and fame that selena does aren't afraid to speak up because they have actual morals and compassion for human. even dua lipa who cares about her career and charts and who is releasing her new single soon still posted a donation link.

I hope every muslim and arab fan will never forget this (and every other celeb who has shown their ass the past weeks). don't support and defend someone who would never defend you.

What happened to the woman who posted this :(

fame and money changes people. selena became friends with a fascist and zionists. you are who you hang with is something selena herself has said multiple times. you can't be best friends with mussolini and claim you have a good heart and that you care about all people.

She is the most miserable celebrity of all time. She didn’t lie in her Vogue video when she said how much she loves sad things, everything this woman says or does is just so icky. She creates drama around herself 24/7, I just know she’s exhausting to be around

Uhmmm... are you guys nuts? Who tf cares for Selena's stance on this topic?? Stop demanding from celebrities to solve world issues they know nothing about. It's deranged and completely out of touch.

She's as vapid as it gets, just shut up for ONCE. But no, she gonna say something stupid and offensive and after she gets called out it's another "break from social media to focus on mental health".

I still don’t care about Palestine. It’s also a place where being gay is forbidden and you could even get killed for it.

And this why spreading awareness is important because you clearly don't know what the f*ck you're talking about

AtRL looking for the next thing to cancel looks like. As is typical. Flavor of the week with yall.

It's exhausting. We don't honestly need to hear every celebrity's opinion ffs.

You dont like what she said or how she worded it? Get over it and go touch some grass.

Why is it every time there’s a global issue like this people demand that every celebrity speaks up, but when they do they attack them. Selena is a singer, she’s not going to change anything no matter what she says.

If only people put this effort into pressuring their local politicians, people who ACTUALLY have power in making a change, then maybe we would get somewhere

Selena is a so called philanthropist and UNICEF ambassador. She shouldn’t take those titles if she can’t do the work

So much wrong with her post :deadbanana:

not only can she not even utter the names of the countries but she somehow has managed to make a genocide all about how sad it is for herself whilst she continues onto watch a Lakers game

and she can miss me with the social media break because she was gladly out here liking Amy Schumers zionist and anti Arab posts

and yes, a post of hers won’t change everything but it can still be helpful. Put up a donation link if you’re too scared to fully use your voice, but do SOMETHING. Don’t sit back and make this situation about yourself, esp not with the massive reach she has. Putting up even the smallest things like a donation link could help many

disappointed wont even cover it

The funniest thing to me about this post is her lying again about not using social media when she’s caught every other day liking TikToks about Justin Bieber :bibliahh: remember when she tried to tell us she hadn’t used the internet in 3 years? Like this is a perpetual lie!

Classifying a genocide as a war. These parties aren’t on equal footing. It’s not right to just say it’s a war, parties from both sides are dying….

that’s a slap in the face to Palestinians. Also saying it’s wrong to pick sides, a literal genocide is going on.

Imagine telling someone who spoke out against hitler that it’s wrong to pick sides…

What about the 1,400 thousand people that died in Israel after the Hamas launched the attacks? Or about the ones that were taken prisoners in Gaza? Why is it all about Palestine as if others have not died? You picking sides is one thing, but to imply that Palestine’s situation is a bigger tragedy than the people that also died in Israel is sick. That goes to show who you really are if you only care about one’s life but not the other’s. It is a war!

war
/wɔː/

noun
  1. a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country.

What work during war time? Just because she doesn’t tell you, you think that she’s not helping the ones affected?

She’s not a unicef ambasador to change the world during wars. Stop with this narrative!

staying silent would've been better than this stupid word soup. if you don't have something smart to say, shut the **** up

it won't end the war but it'll absolutely get the message of palestine out there. that's literally what made people educate themselves and realise what is happening in Palestine. if you stay neutral in times of oppression, you're really just siding with the oppressor. she's one of the most followed people on instagram, it's not ridiculous for people to want her to show her support to her hundreds of millions of followers.

The fact that y’all are gay and would get killed for it in Palestine, but you choose to support them…. Disturbing to watch how many people are brainwashed!

She’s so ******* embarrassing

“Woe me woe me I’m always the victim here woe woe”. Girl shut up if you didn’t want to speak you should have kept those inflated lips and tight jaw shut

all in all, you can hate her and cancel her as much as you want. that won’t change the fact that she cannot stop a war or do anything to change the situation. celebrities are not at fault for what’s happening around the world. they can only say something about the situation, show compassion and move on. so should you. soon you’ll be expecting these people to move mountains.

She sounds so unintelligent and narrow minded, her story makes her come across as a selfcentred person. She generalised everything. There never has not been horror, hate or violence in this world. Whether it are the horrors that the state of israel has done to the people of Palestine for the last decades, or the hate and horrors China still causes to uyghurs, the horrific things Russia does to Ukraine and we could name 100s of other things. For loads of people around the world that is daily life. The way Selena made this all about herself, only because this is a topic about a conlict with loads of coverage makes her come across even dumber. Because she had no problem building a career in a world that always has been on fire at some part, just because most of those atrocities aren't featured in Western countries news bulletins doesn't make them less real.

Nobody expects her to change the world or end this conflict..... :rip:

She is right but she wordy it horrible. I do not know why she is obsessed with the hashtag and post things. She has a horrible team, this statement wordy correcly would have made zero noise.

She's wrong. She can at least be neutral (bare minimum) by liking post that supporting ceasefire and wishing the best for innocent people of both sides instead she chose to like the Amy's one who is racist Zionist genocide supporter who's clearly doesn't care about Palestine at all. I hope she stays Grammyless unless she repent and gets proper education regarding Palestine-Israel conflict.

she just doesn't care about her own opinion on this matter...like its her honest opinion she is not going to save any lives,
She is not a spokesperson for Hamas, Palestine or Israel, if she has an opinion she has the right to say something or not..
the people asking for her opinions are just people that would use her,  her status and fame, just to fight someone on twitter or cancel her...why you would care what Selena Gomez has to say about a war in another country??? somehow her opinion is going make politics, and terrorists cease fire and end the war... people should not put CELEBRITIES  or ANYONE under this...fire against politicians or terrorists...

Literally...doesn't care if she take a side she or any celeb...be real is not going to help in this matter because they don't have any influence in a war in middle east.. if you feel a celeb has to speak for you somehow to share what is happening to feel validation you need some psychologist. leave her and everyone alone not everyone has to have an opinion, people can be neutral too.. and she doesn't have to say the obvious just for your validation or you will lie and say she support war.. like.....no one likes war and no one wants innocent to die bc of their politicians or dictators... the fact that some people harrasm others to get something from them...otherwise you will accuse them for something they don't have a matter on it is disgusting.
