I would like to apologise for anything I have said that may have been offensive or inappropriate! I spent today reading and looking at the bigger picture of the whole situation and I would like to express my deepest sympathy towards the lives lost and my heart goes out to everyone affected in this conflict. Of course this has been going on for years and perhaps none of us paid too much attention, but seeing how far it went, it’s truly heartbreaking. Israel needs to stop and take a step back. Those kids and innocent people do not deserve this horrific punishment! 
 

that being said, I can understand why some celebrities (like Selena G) do not want to talk about this or share their opinions, however their platforms would be really useful in this situation by spreading awareness. It’s also sad that some celebrities who picked Israel’s side on 7th October, now choose to ignore the attack against Palestines. It only goes to show these people don’t actually care, they’re hypocrites and show compassion because they feel pressured to do so! I’d rather have them quiet than hypocritical.

not stan glasses. i just think the way celebs could help (other than donating money) is pretty limited. They're not Joe Biden. 

selena has 430 million followers, but people are seeing this online constantly, they will see what she could've posted, a pic of a child, a pic of an explosion, and MOST of them will just jump to the next story. the way she could help more is getting educated and donating to the right place and sharing about the organization and etc, but clearly she's not in the best mental state to do so. maybe she'll do in some weeks, who knows? it would be nice! but she's not right now.

And tbh of course i said that as a joke yesterday cuz it wasn't intentional ofc but i truly do believe that her being completely dragged online (with LOTS of virals) is bringing more awereness than a great post about it would, that's sad but it's kinda true. People JUMP most educational stories. But they loveeee an united dragging of someone, she's on a hate train on tiktok. 

 

i think our differences is not stan glasses tbh, it's the expectations we put on celebrities about global issues. 

there's a lot that happens on our lifes daily, idk about you, but i can't help Palestine, but i do can help a homeless in my city. $3 daily wouldn't change my life at all. 

Do i do it everytime? No. But do i do it kinda often? Yes. Cuz i care. I think Selena is just like this but in a global (and way way WAY more powerful/richer ofc) perspective. 

 

It's not that i agree with her, i don't. i just think she has the right to do anything if she doesn't feel like it atm cuz it's truly what happens with all of us in a weekly basis. (again, with wayyyyyy less resources ofc, but still).  she maybe still even will do! she helps with a lot of causes. her cooking show donates every new show, she's ALWAYS looking for representative of whose that works with her (latin/black/ansian) -- it always need representative and i think thats amazing! She's a great person, i don't like the fact that she didn't help but i didn't put expectations on her like that. I don't with ANY celebrity!! When i talk about others celebs it's not sharing the heat, it's just cuz i don't see other fanbases putting that perspective on their faves like i saw with Selena, it's not about sharing heat. it's about hypocrisy that i see online. I can't stand a people with a Taylor (love u Taylor) pfp dragging Selena to hell when their fave did nothing, but it's just cuz i can't stand hypocrisy, not that i put expectations on her to do so...

She is a grown woman who has been mentally capable enough to like Amy Schumer's propaganda and attend basketball games, but suddenly when it comes to being able to post about the genocide in Gaza it's too strenuous for her?
