He’s definitely big than a lot of you seem to take him for. He sold out stadiums in Asia with this tour.

Idk but he booked 1 date and it sold out so a second was added

 

They prolly didn't expect it to sell out fast

Am I surprised than an artist who may not be huge in America has managed to find a lot of success in another market? No. This is not a rare phenomenon. Sometimes artists just find a fanbase in places that aren't where they originate from and he's one of them.

Great! I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did especially since I really just went to look at him, but the crowd adore him.

Strange cause his team booked Spark Arena in Auckland which i think is equivalent on Rod Laver lol

Sam Smith is at Rod Laver tonight and tomorrow, so probably he booked first and there wasn't time to set up the stage etc. Charlie could have filled RL though easy, the demand was big.
