A performance would not save this song honestly, the DSN performance mostly helped because Dua went from the One Kiss pencil sharpener to serving c*nt in a relatively short amount of time. 

 

The song is not doing well because it’s not clicking with the GP at the moment and if it doesn’t click on the future, I hope Dua’s team takes notes and plans the era differently.

 

Dua is entering a stage of her career where she has to adapt, not sonically because Houdini is still a different sound than what we’ve heard before, but career wise. We can’t just keep throwing stuff at a song that isn’t clicking and hope it does, it may be a sign it’s time to change single ideas and direction for the era atm. That includes trying to perform this if it isn’t taking off.

Something just feels different this era. She had the GP on her side for FN. Feels like the opposite this era. I’m seeing so many hate tweets on Twitter and people just aren’t into the song. I don’t know how they are going to justify payola’ing this song so hard, if that’s what they are planning to do. It’s going to be obvious that it’s not genuine.

 

Hopefully I’m proven wrong but I don’t see this era going in a positive direction. That could change, but right now… man, people aren’t feeling it.

She has so many dedicated haters here   That user Hot Volcano is completely obsessed with her, like wth? The fact most of them don’t like her because of payola is just so stupid, it’s hard to take them seriously.

 

Anyways, I agree with a fan who said if she’s not going to perform the song on awards, tv shows and year end festivals what was the reason to release the song now?  The perfomances of DSN helped the song so much, we need to see you girl.
