it's mostly due to Youtube pushing it with ads  happens to tons of big popstars recently. the views will be frontloaded but who cares

Spotify and the other platforms is where it is.

I like Dua but I'm not a fan of this song. It's too boring for me and not a big enough departure from the music she's been putting out for the last three or four years. I would say this is her worst release since Swan Song.

 

The Initial Talk remix of New Rules was great, but someone needs to tell her she doesn't need to keep including retro elements in every single for the rest of her career.

 

Glad to see she's doing well though, and I can only wonder what the numbers would be if she released a song that stands out more.

Calling a song as busy and uptempo like this "boring" is so ridiculous 

 

Also, i'm so sick and tired of people pretending this is the same as Future Nostalgia, it's not. This myth that Dua releases the same song again and again is just weird at this point
