Maybe you need a new pair of headphones?

 

There are some differences throughout the melody’s production and even her vocal production on most of the songs which are quite noticeable. I can even notice them without having to listen to the original album in months.

Yes, there are vocal production differences, but they’re overall still pretty minor differences in the grand scheme…I seriously don’t understand why people are acting like they’re completely different songs.

Style does sound a bit flat and some other songs feel kind of slow… although, maybe it’s also the fact that her voice changed through the years so they had to pitch the songs and her voice so they can mesh well together. But yeah, some people make it seem that, at least in Style’s case, it’s a different song compared to the original.

Clean: This is my favorite Taylor song ever. OG is better but this was a good effort.

Wonderland: OG>>>. Her enunciations on TV are Halsey-fied and annoying. The OG was fun and had a playful vibe, which they tried to recreate but failed.

Overall, Taylor's Version sounds much richer in quality. I feel like all of the songs sound better, along with her vocals, with deeper and more impactful production.
