saintspice Posted February 9 Posted February 9 escape is a career highlight the album definitely gets dragged down from the excessive mediocre ballads and mid tempos in the second half though
djcalpal Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Who is A&Ring these records? She has always had so much potential, but the songs are so average 6
lovemeland Posted February 9 Posted February 9 The start of MTTW is so cute but the beat is beating her ass in the second half
lovemeland Posted February 9 Posted February 9 https://inews.co.uk/culture/music/zara-larsson-venus-review-2894964?ico=most_popular 2/5 (40) from whoever this is. Can the basement they are running inews.co.uk from just collapse already

campelo Posted February 9 Posted February 9 It's always a win when she releases a record, after going through the mess with label during so good and poster girl. but I feel she is hunger for fame and will do any attempt she has to have a hit, but I am curious what would be Venus if she sticked with the conceptual idea

Robburro Posted February 9 Posted February 9 can't she just grab some Abba and Tove Lo leftovers and call it a day? jesus christ 2 5
Post Malone Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Poster Girl is AOTY of 2021 and I've always been a stan but I wasn't following this era tbh. I tired listening and random ass mid-tempo More Than This Was turned me off completely, why is that track #2? also her vocals are so quiet compared to Can't Tame Her, it's so jarring. It's also mixed like garbage I'm not gonna be let down this bad on my weekend, I'll sneak this album on some commute next week
paulyyyozd Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I personally thought PG was horrid apart from like 3 tracks (which were great) so this as a whole is actually pretty cute in comparison. still a very mid pop album. 1
Troll Idle Posted February 9 Posted February 9 This is how you not make an album. Messy, all over the place, full of fillers, incoherent
Bicassie Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Can’t Tame Her 10/10 More Than This Was 7/10 On My Love 10/10 Ammunition 9/10 None Of These Guys 10/10 You Love Who You Love 10/10 End Of Time 7.5/10 Nothing 3/10 Escape 8.5/19 Soundtrack 4/10 Venus 8/10 The Healing 4/10 I like the album but the ballads SUCK it’s a 3.5/5 stars for me overall
Twilish Posted February 9 Posted February 9 The title track is really the only thing standing out on first listen.. i miss her ruin my life days
Enzo Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Unlike y'all, I wasn't impressed by the title track, one of the weakest of the album tbh Also, those ballads are the worst tracks on this, like they are so uneventful and dull chile
AcidPrince Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Tbh, Escape, Soundtrack and the Healing ruin the album
Maroonx Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I'm disappointed at how underwhelming this album is. Poster Girl>>>> I'll give it a few more listens, I'm sure it'll grow on me x

DancingShoes Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) It’s a Zara Larsson album and the only song that I think is bad is Nothing Edited February 9 by DancingShoes
UnusualBoy Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) I'm on EOT. And the album is not bad per say but it lacks something. The singles are amazing but the albums tracks are missing something, they feel hollow? Edited February 9 by UnusualBoy
