Beyoncé, we don’t care about no damn perfume! Read the room!

I did not forgive her for only considering parts of Europe and US in her last “world” tour

everybody knows the most important and time consuming part about making a fragrance is the exterior box.

Do you really think packaging is irrelevant in beauty products? Especially at that price point? :rip: She’s not gonna die if you accept that it looks cheap

Where do yall spray your cologne/perfume and how many times? I do 2-3 squirts total. Usually on my chest/neck and wrist. Should I copy the queen and do 5 squirts on the chest from now on?

The way all the MPGs look like they have more fun promoting beauty products than their music. Taylor is the only one left loyal to the art, I fear. :deadbanana2:

let’s not. this is no different than the hundreds of vinyls and merch options Taylor does for her rabid fan base …. it’s mainly for fans to buy something to feel closer / pledge allegiance to their fave. Taylor is the same capitalist lil piggy, if not a lot more so, than any of our faves.

Never imagined hearing the word "Unboxing" from Beyoncé mouth :deadbanana:

One behind each ear and one on the back of the neck, and then one on each shoulder. I spray the cologne on my shoulders while wearing clothes, so the scent stays on the clothes.

Then one in my underwear because I think it’s a nice little gift for yourself (or someone else), when you take your pants or underwear off and you get a whiff of fragrance.

Vinyls have to be attached to music, no? Merch is also typically associated with music releases.

I'd say Taylor is a more of a global warming lil piggy. :gaycat5:

I was replying to the idea that after two years of work, the packaging should be something other than the simple graphic design Beyoncé has favoured since 2013 and has continued to use throughout the RENAISSANCE era.

My point was that from conception to release, the bulk of the work and time spent was likely given to the most important aspect of the product: the actual fragrance itself. Considering this is entirely a Parkwood product (ie. everything from concept to production to distribution is handled by them), there's considerably more work needed to be done in order to get this to market.

I'm not excusing a perceived lack of quality, but I don't think a different design would necessarily achieve that more than discussion of paper quality or format. If we are talking price point, it should be noted that most designer items go with simple designs for their exterior packaging vs. the more maximal looks of drugstore, commercial brands attempting to catch customers' eyes. Even brands known for maximalist prints put items like shoes (at a significantly higher price point), scarves, sunglasses, etc. in boxes of a single colour, with their logo printed on it. Admittedly, Hermes adds a strip around the permitter of their shoe boxes.

Technically pop stars were the original influencers. This feels like a video Bey would have made back in the 00s.

Something abt Renaissance era REALLY made her come out of her shell, I mean sth like this for her was UNTHINKABLE a few years bac:clap3::flame::mummy::johnald:

:toofunny2: yea, only if you didn't follow her or know of her before 2016. She's come back out of her shell because the recent art encourages it, not because she was such a hermit and wallflower up until Rena. Her cutesy/goofy personality was on display in most interviews/media she did from 1998-2014.

Some of you are doing a bit too much, but what's new when it comes to Beyoncé lol You can't just take this as a cute little clip and keep it pushing.

NEway, Queen looks radiant and it's always good to hear that southern velvet voice and that signature giggle. I might purchase me a bottle of this for Christmas.

Also, does any older hive remember her being allergic to perfume? I know she always used to talk about she couldn't wear it because it would make her breakout... I guess the chemicals in fragrances have advanced enough where she can wear it or...?
