Having a flop album doesn’t mean you’re over, so this is dumb logic. PTTR and AH prove there is still demand for Doja and they will be the smashes from the album…and then she should rightfully move on.

She went from having the biggest era from this decade to having just 2 top 10 charting songs (on Spotify) agora is performing mediocre rn and it needs to chart for a long time on lots of metrics to be called a hit. Rn its performing just okay and its kind of increasing. But the era overall is a DAMN decrease and NO she isn’t over and i don’t believe that the term “over” exist. Like who gets 0 streams per day? Even xtina gets that

I'm sorry but being top 10 on Spotify US means almost nothing when the song is currently sitting at #55 on the H100 (it will obviously rise soon, but still)

The message is clear that people are enjoying the singles this era and totally ignoring the rest, which honestly makes sense because (imo) Scarlet is a weak album and huge downgrade from Planet Her as a whole. I honestly think Scarlet’s under performance vs the singles doing well comes down simply to that. There’s some argument to be had that the fans she pissed off this era are also playing into why the album is not doing well vs the casuals are still clearly streaming the singles but I don’t think that’s the main reason.
