After Taylor disgustingly forced Olivia into crediting her for Deja Vu, which sounds nothing like any of her songs (and is frankly much better), how did no one bring up the glaring similarities between Cruel Summer and Loona's indie-smash Stylish? Should Taylor be sued for not crediting Loona on Cruel Summer?

For the same reason no one takes 99% of these “rip off” accusations seriously: 

 

1. They share maybe a key few notes in common but are otherwise unique (the situation here) 

 

2. Music is bound to sound similar at some point considering the extremely limited amount of notes you’ve got to work with. Just because something sounds vaguely similar doesn’t mean it’s a rip off. 

 

Don’t forget that Olivia and Dan ***** offered the credit to Taylor and Jack, it wasn’t something that was demanded from the latter two. Olivia was pro-active, offered the credit without being made to, she kept her glorious bop intact, and showed she’s more than capable of playing fair and we love her for that.

I heard the outro for Deja vu the first time on the radio this week (I don’t go out of my way to listen to Olivia), and Taylor’s credit was absolutely deserved. It’s sonically blatant

Loona girls only care about carrying on with their solo projects, getting cute, mid hits, and shell 14 variants of their mini EPs to the western fanbase. All of them are booked and busy thankfully.
