real fans always know reputation is superior, and it created a stronger  bond with Taylor and amongst fan. You got to be there in reputation era to understand, it`s cheesy but that us against the world feeling is hard to replicate. 

 

In short, Lover is for the GP and rep is for the fan

I don’t know both albums that much tbh but Reputation has a character, a personality. Lover is just another pop album.

Lover is becoming classic. Repu will have moment with repu tv but  lover will overtake it again in future. Because it has the sound which can forever go. Lover song is wedding classic. Beside look video,  there is nothing special about repu. It also ruined her image as radio star.. My least fave album. None of it's songs are on par with her classic hits.

I’m one of those Lover warriors, because I legit believe Lover is better than Reputation. Lover has some lows, but Reputation has Gorgeous, the lowest of the lows.

 

Lover has the longevity, the hit/s (Cruel Summer, Lober, YNTCD and ME have better stats than LWYMMD, RFI, End Gme and Delicate combined), and the more remembered deep cuts (Cornelia Street, DBATC, Afterglow, Daylight > Getaway Car, DWOHT, CIWYW, Dress). Lover also has more weeks in the B200 top ten. Peaks aren’t everything, first week can only do so much.

 

I do love both albums but I need to fight for Lover because it IS good.

Being an actual good album? I feel like Lover and Midnights both show that her pop sensibilities start to fall apart when Max Martin isn't at the helm.
