Quality --gammys ? articles? reviews? and impact = sales and reccurent sales ?! Quality -- won 3 grammys and has BR which has the best MV of the 2000 and the most MTV wins..... Impact ---40mil SPS more than all those albums + the best recurrent streams of them all YT + Spotify Legacy ---the album that brought back EDM in pop music ---so i say is on par ---idk what is Janets album legacy cause nobody talks about it nowdays but whatever Its better than all of them in legacy and impact Edited October 23, 2023 by BawwaB 2 4 14
Popular Post jesus del rey Posted October 23, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2023 It's even better and bigger than some of the albums you've listed 5 11 1
Kodak Energy Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 I think it has a bigger impact and legacy than any of the albums listed. But I think all the albums listed above are better in terms of quality. 2 1 1
AxelFox Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 It's comparable to ANTI in terms of quality but nowhere close to TVR/ROL/ST 9 5 2
Solaria Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 (edited) Absolutely and anybody who denies it needs a reality check. TFM is a masterclass on how to do electropop. The production choices, the europop influences are all masterfully done Edited October 23, 2023 by Love Again 4
Kayseri Mantisi Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 you shouldn't have posted BEYONCÉ and ANTI as examples. they belong to the new, current era of the music. not to OLD, PAST, DATED, AGED era. so the Madonna and Janet Jackson maybe, but not the others. 3 11
mons†er Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 absolutely, without question. with only 8 songs at that
zoldyck Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 At least put 1989 or 21 there if you are going to pick albums from current girls. ST success is very is us centric, it doesn't have that sales. It recurrent streams are not goid. Impact of suprise release is undeniable but that's the only thing going for it. Anti is kinda just their too, successful but not on that level. 3

Digitalism Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 If this is about quality then it is on the same level only as the ep not including the fame
ScorpiosGroove Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 the thread literally says "quality/impact/legacy" but y'all talk about streams OT : no, maybe if it was an actual album without the obvious filler song known as Teeth

Try again boo Quote The album sold over 617,000 copies in the United States and 828,773 copies worldwide in its first three days of sales, becoming the fastest-selling album in the history of the iTunes Store up to that point. 1 2
Erreur2 La Nature Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Two of these albums were US-centered and not much of an event in the rest of the world. One was very successful but definitely not a classic either So yeah
KatyPrismSpirit Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 The Fame Monster is way superior than BEYONCÉ and ANTI... pls 4 1

No, it depends on what artist we're talking about of course, but current big scene of pop music isn't mainly influenced by Lady Gaga. they are mainly influenced by legends such as Lana Del Rey, Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Frank Ocean, Bowie, Kanye, etc. We have past the time of your faves. Time is fast, and it has been years. Lady Gaga isn't currently influencing anyone with “The Fame Monster”. Of course she had a huge impact in the past, and influenced many, but not now.

TFM did not bring back EDM, it just helped kicked the door in for it to be mainstream. it's called a trend. no one talk's about Janet's legacy but Gaga did in 2009 and look's up to her. 1 1 1
